10 Amazon Classroom Must haves

Your classroom space is like a second home and you want to make as comfortable and cute as possible, right? I know just the feeling! Not all classrooms comes with all the cute things and essentials to making a classroom the most flexible and efficient space for students either. I completely understand you. Over the past years I have probably spent a lot of money and also learned what has worked and what hasn’t. I also have learned that it is my money and heart I am pouring into my classroom, so why not create a space my students and I love. I have 10 amazon finds the can help you organize and make you day to day a little easier!

Let’s dive right in! Here are 10 amazon finds for your classroom that you will LOVE!

1. Teacher Toolbox

This is a game changer! The teacher toolbox will easily organize all your things and declutter your desk drawers. You can organizer paper clips, thumb tacks, sticky notes, glue sticks, and so much more! There are tons of cute labels to pick from on Teachers Pay Teachers or other shops in many different themes and colors. This easily fits on a bookshelf or on your desk. Mine worked best behind my desk on the bookshelf and kept my desk clutter free.

2. Dry Erase Marker Holder

If you are anything like me, I am always losing my dry erase markers and almost always at the worst timing possible. My students are always so sweet to help look for them, but it most definitely takes up precious time! This cute acrylic dry erase marker holder is perfect to keep it all organized and prevent your markers from getting lost. The eraser holder space is a bonus!

3. Wireless Doorbell

This is easily part of my top three! The wireless doorbell is a great tool to use for attention getters, centers or stations and transitions. You can also take the bell with you and move around the classroom. It can easily attach to your lanyard using a clip or even a hand sanitizer holder. I use the the hand sanitizer holder from bath and body works.

Daily slides and presentations just got even better! No more dragging the laptop around with you or a student to change the slides. The wireless presenter remote is easy to use and simple to get it installed! You can use it during a lecture lesson, on your daily slides, center rotations, during a video and so much more. This allows you to spend less time up in front, in control of the computer and more time walking around the classroom while you teach to keep students engaged.

Have you tried these magnetic number yet? And not just for math! Here’s the thing, my dry erase written date always wore off by mid-day and sometimes I would forget to write it out. Not to mention if my markers were low, students couldn’t see the date. Magnetic numbers are a large enough and easy to use to display the date. You could even assign a student to have the classroom job and change the date out daily.

6. Mesh Zipper Bag Organizer

The endless possibilities for storage ideas! I love a good sturdy bag that can also look ascetically pleasing. These mesh zipper bags come in a set and can be used for so many different things. In my classroom I used them for STEM items and small groups. At the end of the year they could easily be stored and cleaned up for the next year.

Do you have read aloud books or suggested books for your students you would like to share, but don’t know where to put them up in your classroom for students to notice? I have the solution! Magnetic curtain rods have been a game changer when it comes to anchor chart paper! These curtain rods easily stick to magnetic white boards then, add a binder ring to each side. This makes it much more organized and students can easily view it for reference.

10. 3-Tier rolling Cart

Organizing tools are my jam! The 3-tier rolling cart is a great addition to the classroom. Three ways I used it in the classroom are:

1. Morning cart- with puzzles, coloring books, board games, sensory items, a few stem items, and add/change them out throughout the year.

2. Small groups- all items for each small group were organized in the cart and put behind the small group table.

3. Craft cart- I love having crafts for all themes and holidays, this is the perfect way to organize them and roll the cart around the classroom when students need items or to disburse the supplies.
